Hi,

I posted some stuff to the server using the application/amf content type, and it was echoed nicely. This means that your server does not block amf requests .... there must be a subtle problen with the php script

Some stupid detail but who knows ...
In the PHP class

"access"         => "public",         // available values are private, public, remote

Should be

"access"         => "remote",         // available values are private, public, remote

Hi!
Thanx for your  help, gentlmen Grin
"your server does not block amf requests " - thats very very good! I will not check it by meself.
"...there must be a subtle problen with the php script..." -I suppose there must be a subtle problem with my head. Hope time will help me to find error.  Grin
Concerning access -"remote", "public". It was my steps just for testing.
I still do not have a result. But I will proceed with this problem by myself, cause I think it is a very good idea - AMFPHP and it woks fine on other people servers.
Thanx again.

Igor,

Did you ever figure out what was going on with this? I am having exactly the same problem now. My servir with  php 4.2 .3 installed is working, but my new one with php 4.3 is not, nor is the server at my hosted site. Getting the 404 error from the hosted site, and http failure from the local one. I've tried everything I can think of. Have relocated the flashservices folder and gateway.php, tried dozens of path changes, checked carefully for whitespace before and after my php tags, etc., etc.. Nothing helps. If you ever did come up with a solution PLEASE let me know what it was.

I am sorry but I have no idea except some errors. I just changed hosting and all works (It is not a solution. It is a mad step Smiley)) ). At least "HelloWorld"  Grin. I got some errors during trying to find the solution but they are not clear. Later I will write about it.
Sorry that I can not help you!
