Is it possible to create dynamic pages in flash based on external XML files? What I mean is that I have a templatized flash file with effects for the text and a spot for an animation and some placse for buttons. What I want to know is, can I change the text loaded and it's effects, the movie/animation, and the properties of the buttons (mainly what page they link to) based on external XML files? Thanks for your help.

Short Answer is Yes.

It's not an easy task though, but definitly doable.

I would also take a look at the new Drawing API in Flash MX - really useful for this type of stuff because you can actually draw text fields or whatever else you want from code.  Making it relatively easy to load in a xml file, parse it, and draw what was contained in that text file.

For Animations and stuff like you'll just have to have settings, for example when your parsing the xml file - if you run accross a certain value - play a certain animation.
