I think that there's some interesting elements here.
However...nav launch should be GREATLY sped up, or always shown.  Also, consistancy in your nav is ESSENTIAL!  no sense moving it around on people.  You're looking to get a visitor to drop some cash, not enjoy flash-peek-a-boo!
I really like the idea of the transitions between your content.  Speed that up too, and try building those transitions within a consistant nav.
Another strength here is the sound.  I think that once the menu timing is fixed, the sounds will have better impact.  Also, the learn flash link,...hmmm, maybe you could think of another site to list there....rhymes with TV, starts with flash.
That loader made me want to cry.  Don't say 'hi' to a guest that way.  There are better things to say than 'loading'

Oh yeah, smartly applied jpgs would help too.  Bitmap fills are your friend.
