ok... worked perfectly... now i just have one question... not sure if this is the right place for it, but i thought i would try....

$Update=mysql_query("UPDATE Jackpot SET Value =${Jackpot}");

this line comes after connecting and successfully receiving a value from the database... i receive no errors, but the table doesn't update.... does anybody know why?
