and if the application will run on browser in flash player ? it will have to use port 80 to be common to all users ?
any way so there is no way to stay with port 80 in flash application ?

Could use any port, usually over 1024, that's it

The actual question is, what are you trying, or planing, to do?

If you need socket connection, forget about AMFPHP and port 80.

If not, AMFPHP and port 80 are ok.

BUT IT IS DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIE

And, by the way, this is not a beginners task - it should at least be planned and guided by an professional.

ok now i guess im getting the picture right ...  i hope
my native language is not English so maybe i didnt made my self clear
as i understand to make async connections over http protocol i can use
AMF3 and then i will have the responsibility to handle the request / response
( like implementing rest or something like this )
but for sync connection i will need to use XMLsoucket  is it right ?

If you want to get deeper into AMFPHP, install the latest package to your server and play with our tutorials
