plz help me with this aplication!!!

This is my first post so i'll try to be as clear as posible...

I'm doing an application that allows the user to upload a picture and then let him add some other already loaded pictures to it... it's a kind of avatar making app... where the user can add a mustache or glasses for example...

I'm using this tutorial...

but the thing is that i need that the image that the user uploads resizes to fit the imagepane or the movie clip that will hold the image...

plz help i'm very worried about this because it's a project that i have to make as fast as i can...

Hi and welcome to the boards,
If the picture needs to be permanently resized, you should use php GD-Library for it.
