I created a flash swf file that is a simple sign-in sheet. It connects to mysql and reads and writes the sign-in information and everything works fine on my site.

The problem happens when I try to embed that same swf file into another forum. The swf file uploads ok everything works except it stops communicating with mysql on my server. Why is this happening.

I use this code to embed the swf file into a forum
Code:
[flash=900,600]myflashfile.@mysite[/flash]

Hi Smokin,
welcome to the boards.

It very much depends on how you communicate with the server.
Just give a code snippet of the request call and the eventhandler for reception.

And, if possible, a life link, where we can have a look.

Also take into account that you probably need to put a crossdomain.xml in your site to allow cross-scripting if the swf is in another place than the original
