GuestBook v2 MySQL PHP - undefined error

Hi all, i have a question... i downloaded files from GuestBook v2, but my hosting is using the newest PHP version and i dont know how to configure mine PHP file.. it is keep writing me UNDEFINED error. I have the same problem with mine flash e-mail form with PHP... it is just not reading mine PHP files ..or i dont know, cuz i was trying to configure mine PHP guestbook.php but whatever i change it still keep writing the same undefined error. I look up in the forum but only i find is for the guestbook v1 with text file. I dont think im the first what have this problem so please if somebody know what im talking about i will be thankfull for some solution.

Are you sure, you are using V2?

For me it rather looks like Guestbook V1 and the textfile is not writable and empty.

The GuestBook is from here http://www.flash-db.com/Tutorials/guestbook/ and there staying VERSION 2.

ok.. i just come back to the older version with text file..

Version 2 is mySQL.
If this does not work, it usualy has to do with the database connect beeing undefined or mistyped.

There is not very much to do wrong - it is quite straight forward.
