i am new to the using coldfusion and I had a simple question about using URL variables, I was wondering how to send variables from flash to coldfusion with out going through a database and querying?

all I want my coldfusion page to do is execute a command when it receives a certain variable.  There is no need for a query.

can anyone please tell me how I would accomplish this?
