Flash 8 player upload image - how to upload image???

Real simple: I have site I want user to be able to fill out form and upload image.  The data form part I think I have ok, it's just the upload image I'm not to sure about.  My gurus tell me I should simply be able to do it with the flash 8 player.

Question: How do I do it with flash 8 player.  Just want user to submit information and image.  It would go to my email.  Can somebody walk me through the steps for this. 

Also want to make sure this is secure.  That they can't upload some type malicious code or virus when send image file.
