hi there

i got the guestbook from jeff running (thanks jeff!!!).
whilst trying to get all the attributes right i created a lot of blind entries and dummy entries (you know what i mean)...

HOW CAN I DELETE THEM???

I work with Dreamweaver MX on a Mac and I actually don't know whats running on the server side (but the script worked fine, so probably no NT/2000-crap)
When I try to open the txt-file directly on the server (by doubleclicking it), there's a pop-up appearing that asks me if I wanted to include dependent files. Either option i choose, the next pop-up asks me if I wanted to overwrite the corresponding local file (which is not what I want, because it took me a whole day to have the server-admin change the permissions of the txt-file!), so I say no to this...

AND ALL I GET IS AN EMPTY TXT-FILE!!!

bottomline: me is two dumb to change them file! =)

Can any wise man or woman help a desperate student?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
