My friend tried to browse the homepage i've completed the other day, he's running on LINUX. The problems stars when he opened the website, there are couple of errors occured. First, the preloader to the website keeps on loading. It loads on and on, I've created the preloader in a separate scene with the movie I wanted to load. Secondly, i've created a couple of scrollbox and it loads an external txt file, and it didnt show up.
There's only blanks in the scroll box. So what do I have to do now? Does my friend have to download the flash 5 player to do the trick (but without the flash 5 player he still can browse the website)?Or is it something else? Help is muchly appreciated.

It's probably the Player version.  I've never had any problems with Opera and Flash, as well as Netscape and Flash (Well really large problems at least).

If you've only got the Flash 4 Player installed - the Movie will still show up for the most part, but anything that depends on Flash 5 Functions or functionality will Not work and may cause errors.

well i've asked him to download the flash 5 player, and it works...only in Konquerer, somehow, but it stays the same with the netscape. But now i realise, that i am having a problem too with my opera browser. Im using windows 2000, and i've f**king download the flash player and it is still f**ked up in the opera.
Here's the url anyway, www.imagnia.com.my. Cool

What is the preloader - It may have loaded to fast - But if it's the scrolling text that says "Welcome to Imagina" that keeps on looping on my browser as well - meaning that their could be an error with the preloader itself and not the machine.

It looked like all the text was showing up though.

Anyways sometimes it's a pain to install a new flash player.  I've noticed this on one or two computers - and I still don't know why that was.  If you install the latest of any of the browsers though, they should come with the Flash 5 player already installed.

Try to describe the exact problems a little bit more and I'll see If I can see what's going on.

As for Opera - I've never had a problem with Opera and Flash 5 so it's hard to tell, I've actually had a lot more problems with Netscape even then Opera.
