I thought I followed the tutorial pretty well.....the flash cards get sent and all from my server....but they don't include the message text inside the card - -the email notifiaction includes the text in the notification but not in the card... nothing is in the base folder - -is there supposed to be a file that text is written to in that folder --what exactly would that be Huh  Thaks for any feedback/help on this

The problem is probably the permissions on the folder.  Make sure to change the permissions to 777 on that folder.

It's either that or the path is incorrect.

Hiya,

Setting permissions to 777 is not very secure is it? I mine set to 755 which is owner read, write, exe and group/others set to read/execute. Or is that just as bad?

Anyways, thanks for a cool tutorial. It is a good example which one can expand on. Now I just need to find some people to make me some cool flash e-cards.   ;)

I think I'll try begging in one of the other forums   ;D

thanks again for the cool tutorial,

If it's just a text file - then the best is 666.  Sometimes I say 777, but it should really be 666.

If it's a Perl script then - 755
