It's a cute site.

Things to consider ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

> Some photos in the gallery could need a good shape up in PSP

> Use as few fonts as possible and make them as crips as you can. (Just moving them some 0.1 might do the trick.)

> Set individuall compression settings for the sounds. The short menu-sounds don't need to be that crappy

There's some wannabe-links in the text but I guess you know about that.

I wonder though were all loadingtime come from. I'm at a very fast broadband connection and I had to wait several seconds just to see some text and a picture, maybe you should check that up.

But as I said, it's a cute site and a good work.  Smiley

Check: http://www.dsg4.com/04/extra/bitmap/index.html
but they are kind of future, don't think it would suite your site.

Here is some info bout pixelfonts: http://www.wpdfd.com/wpdtypo3a.htm

Maybe you find a font you like. Then you can search for it at http://www.fontseek.com/

Every movie has a preloader could be bothersome to some people. I know I did:)
Maybe just have one preloader at the start to download everything into the user's computer and start playing. Pixel font increases your file  size if you worry about it.

You don't mean in stead of using device font do you?

I did a little test with both static and dynamic text fields and a bunch of fonts.

The pixelfonts is about 1 - 30 % of the size of any vectorfont.

I say use the pixelfont if you like Amiya.

Looks good,
I don't like having a preloader on everything eighter. I'd load everything in at once. Maybe add some cool html shell for your flash to sit in...it just looks like its floating and there is so much you can do with that site.

Why not add some color to your scroll bar and stuff too.

globalStyleFormat.textColor = 0xccff00;
globalStyleFormat.arrow = 0xffffff;
globalStyleFormat.face = 0x006699;
globalStyleFormat.shadow = 0x003366;
globalStyleFormat.darkshadow = 0x000033;
globalStyleFormat.highlight = 0x0099BB;
globalStyleFormat.highlight3D = 0x00BBEE;
globalStyleFormat.scrollTrack = 0x003366;
globalStyleFormat.background = 0x006699;
globalStyleFormat.applyChanges();

Use that code for that, your scroller looked to plan.

Is there more goodies to globalStyleFormat maybe, where can I find them?

Hi,

Thanks every body for reviewing the site. I will implement your suggestions as soon as possible. My client complaint me that most of the users can't know there is a menu on top. Did u find the top menu? The 3 images on top are menu, Hover on first to see  a sliding submenu.

Could u suggest better icons on the submenu like visions, acheivements, exposure etc.

hoping a prompt suggestion.

thanks again to fred p weiss, Mattias Robo ...

regards,

Like...  the legend of Zelda ? Tongue

Sorry.. it's a good quick solution.

You sholud check how the menu works though, it's a bit buggy.

The submenu that appears when holding over the first picture has to go away when moving over the other pictures since they don't have any submenus.

The text that appears in the picture when holding over the submenus tend to stuck if you move the mouse too quickly.

I also think the pictures are bit too light for the white text or the other way around.

Keep up!
