Okay, I'm working on a site and I have my main menu done, now I'm trying to setup some dynamic flash for the news section so that I dont have to have users go to a frame page with some php or an html page. All I want to do is be able to have flash get news updates and links from php. Php is installed on my site, so what do I need to do? I can set up a database for my forums and all, and then a database for news and links and such on the main site. Can anyone either write or give me a link to a very simple and straightforward tutorial on how I can do this? I'm beyond noob with flash, my main menu is done in swish, and Im planning to have my news button link to another page with a flash movie thats only purpose is to show the news that i've put into the database. I'll do transitions and all to make it look seamless, but I just need help with getting text from php in a simple way. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Zones,
just read the article about information interchange here in the forum (technical reference area) and do at least one of the tutorials provided here.

After that your eyes are opening and you can start doing grat stuff with flash
