This is my first time on these boards - not sure if I'm in the right place, but feel sure some one will put me right if I'm wrong !
Prob : I started to build an ecard site that just didn't work !! Followed several tutes before I came across the one available here. First I changed the variables to reflect my own and - no joy - then I rebuilt the site using the code as is, just changed the
www.address to my own
- got an idea the problem my be the file heirarchy, not sure so : I have loaded to my host in the file marked www. index.html (opening page) this loads an swf ,this page is one frame, identical ( in code ) to frame one of Ecards.swf from the tute. When card is selected it loads Ecards.swf which has 2 frames identical to frames 2 & 3 in Ecards.swf from the tute. The php files index.php(sendEcard.php) and EcardSelect.php,reside in the same folder, dBtext & Ecard3 ( the only one active for test purposes) reside in a anothe folder Ecards.
I have changed the button code to reflect the name change of the php file from sendEcard to index.php, have tried various permutations of placing the files in different folders - but still no joy. Any help/advice suggestions - or just plain tell me what to do will be very much appreciated.
