Can you change the Custom Formatter of a Binding object during runtime?

Creating bindings at runtime:

something=new Binding(src, dest, {cls: mx.data.formatters.Custom, settings: {classname: "com.mycompany.SpecialFormatter"}});

Can i change the custom formatter during runtime? If so, how?

Or is it fixed from then onwards??
