 Huh

hi.  I am pretty confident in creating movies, however I still have
a question.

I visit some website, that shows flash, and some of them have really
really smooth motions.  For me, I always increate the movie frame/sec
to 50/sec to enhance the quality of movie motions, but still it is not as smooth
as I wish it to be. I even tried 200/sec, but it still shows the same

1) Is it gonna make movie smoother if I use action scripts?
2) If so, can anyone show me a simple action scripts that you can move
one box from one place to another?

A lot of times it's dependent on what your working with.  If possible could you post a link to an example that your working on - that might help to determine the best way to make it smoother.

There is a basic example @ http://66.70.72.50/forum/tutorials/movement/index.html

The speed at which your movie clip plays is determined by a number of factors.  If you're moving a complex shape (a big jpg for example, or complicated graphic) then I don't think that any amount of AS will save you from that sad looking 'CHUG'.....

For some really sexy fast motion in flash using AS, check out some www.ultrashock.com fla's...very sexy, chug free AS motion indeed.

HAve fun!

thx,
