Hi!

I am trying to follow the  tutorial from Jeffrey to build a guestbook likehis (tutorial also on flashkit).

I am stuck on: part II setting up the script

Where is that script suppose to be written? I don't understand.

I am not very smart in scripting yet, I am a newbie and I am trying but I am
a slow learner. Your tutorial is great though!

Please help me understand that part, I am stuck there and I need a guest
book on my site.

If you are using a PC, then open up a new text file in notepad.   If you are using a MAC (God forbid) then open up simple text.  You type the code in there.  Your server (if php is supported) will recognize it as code because of the file extension and the <?PHP ?> tags.  Now save the file....when you save it go to File>Save As....       Now type in the name GuestBook.php.  Before you hit "Save" change the file type to "All Files".  Now you can upload it to your server in the same folder that your swf and txt files are in.
