....Exam...ugh, no fun. Had mine two weeks ago. I go back to school...well, it starts again on 2.03.2003 for me. But I will probably head over there a week early.

At least you found some cash....but I am not quite sure how much that equals out to. Maybe I should use that currency converter thing that Jeff made...cool, first time I ever looked at it. Pretty handy. SO you found a little more than 5 bucks ($5.117 USD). That is always nice. I once found a twenty in the gutter in front of baskin robbins (31 flavors ice cream place). That was a good day.

Yeah, Excel is easy but so boring. I hate it. I would much rather do databasing than spreadsheets.

Yeah, I got that thing done. It was a little later in the day that I got it completed, but none the less. I had to babysit my sick niece, I had an excuse. If anybody would actually like to check out the forum with a password protected category....the first category.....

The name is user1 and the password is password1 just so people can see the functionallity. I think I did it pretty fas tfor never lookin at the forum before.

I am starting to like this thread the most. Good idea Vesa, sorry we are invading your journal.

Good luck with the exam, yeah.....you might want to take that instead of messin around on the boards....lol.

Really like the Mod to the message board. That thing needs a ton more work - like usernames and passwords - ha ha.

Good luck with the exam. I'm glad that at least I don't have to worry about exams any more - although sometimes I wish I was back in school - hard to believe but was a lot less stressful...

Anyways here's an update (an explaination why I havn't been on the boards so much lately). I now work for a company owned by Reuters (which provides news and financial services to quite a few other company's). The company I work for does all the web design, research area's, financial tools, etc etc for most of the major financial company's and brokerage's in the US (which includes Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanly, TD waterhouse, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, ... list goes on for a really long time). While it's a great Job and good company - it's been stressful for the first 2 months or so with a bunch of ups and downs. At one point I had 4 important projects going on and well it was quite a bit. Hopefully it will calm down soon.

Well that's about it - Thanks everyone with helping out on the boards. Let me know if anyone has any idea's for the site...

Also - (Vesa, Ron, Jorge, Wolfgang, Ian) please think of this as your site - and feel free to post any news etc - or appoint new moderators in the Administration area if you think it's a good idea. If any of you want Flash-db email address's - or directory access to post/update anything - or access to the rest of the site, let me know and I'll put that together.

Wow, I am tired now.....
I worked out again earlier and played a pretty intense game of raquetball for about an hour and a half....Just finishing watching CKY2K wiht two friends on my computer about an hour ago. Man that movie is messed up, yet so entertaining. What have we come to!?!?!? lol. Anywayz....

Thanks for the encouragement Jeff, if life after schooll is more stressful than this I might just go to med school or something for a few years to avoid the added stress. Goog luck with your job.

Oh and I just modded the guestbook (scripts only) for Jimmi. I wrote the commands so that it will work no matter where you load it into.....levels, MC, or just the GB.

I am really surprised that I didn't so that earlier...it was really easy. Guess the 5 months away from flash was alot of wasted time....oh well. I think we might want to post this in the source (with the changed referencing) to spare people the trouble. It will pretty much close down the Guestbook topic section...with the excetion of a few people that can't read simple instructions and put all the files in the same directory and change permisisons. I will send it to wou tommorrow....it is pretty late now. I will also post it and stick it to the otp of the Guestbook topic of the boards for download....along with an explanation of the changes so that people can better understand referencing in flash (hopefully).

Moshin....wow, 15 huh? Stick with this stuff..at this rate you will be pretty damn good by the time you are my age. You will have a real leg up on other people. I wish I started in on web design and flash at that age. I am 19 now, freshman in college. I live in the US, California to be exact.....Santa Cruz. I love it there. Wow, Africa...a good friend of mine just went there for a month for winter break. He goes to school with me. hmmm...where did he go again....being tired really messes up the thinking. Can't remember, oh well. Keep helpin out on the boards...it is a good way to learn to. That is how I learned a great deal of what I know. In fact I started out on flash becasue of this site pretty much....back in January of this year.

Aight time for bed now I think......if I can go to sleep. I think that this thread has been converted form Vesa's diary to the Amin posts.

The MW9 server....that is my domain. I don't have a page posted yet. I host for a site and post alot of random things to link to from this site. I am workin on the webpage now. Just started with the layout the other day. Unfortunately evertime I sit down I add another 4 hours of work because I want a bunch of features. Oh well.....oh and I am stuck on this damn thing.....the drag won't work for this mc that has a dynamically loaded picture unless if I call the command with an on event handler from the MC....I want it to execute from a function or another MC triggering it. It just won't drag.......ahhhhhh.........oh well. Rambling now...need sleep.

I think I am seriously going Blind. All the times snowboarding without googles in the Sun, and all the time Looking at computer screens - I think I need glass's. For some reason I can't read anything on Digital Screens that are far away (or things like sub titles on movies), funny thing is that If it's not a digital screen I can read the same thing just as far away, weird...
