Ask a stupid question....

Hi Guys,

First post on Flash DB, all this time Ive been using FlashKit!!

Im going to ask a stupid question that you guys will probably know the answer to in no time whatsoever, I have taken a simple photo, converted it into a symbol in Flash 5.  I have then broke apart the photo and different pieces of the photos and made them into layers, then I am using different tweens to piece the picture back together.  When I scrub the movie clip it works brilliantly, tweens and every layer working fine.  But when I close the movie clip and drag the clip into the main scene, then test the movie, the movie clip still animates the way it should, but the 10 different layers are now only showing 1 or 2 of the different parts of the original image.

Im not sure if any of this makes sense, but could someone tell me what Ive done wrong, its a very simple clip with tweens, scaling etc.

Hi Ben, welcome to the Boards !

Check your tweens. They have a straigh line between keyframes or a broken line? Your pieces should be graphics or MC in order to be animated.

I will check the tweens, they all have straight lines, no broken lines.  Its just really weird that when I scrub the movie clip when editing it, it works fine, but when I drop it into my main scene it then decides to go a bit loopy on me.  It is only certain tweens as well, I will have a deeper look into the tweens, must be that!!
