pop up window newbie

Hi all,

Just started using the java pop up window generator for Flash5 yesterday. Everything works fine while I'm testing the Flash site, however, when I uploaded all the files to the Internet server the pop ups don't work. I use IE on a PC.

What type of hosting do you have.  Sometimes if it's a Free host they have your site in these invisible Frame type things (so they can add ads etc) - But this also cause's javascript to not work correctly.  Is that the case.

I'm not sure what else would be causing that.  If it's working on your local computer it should work on the host - unless their are some weird frame things going on.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your quick feedback. You mentioned free web hosting, which I don't use. However, I use a URL forwarding service for the web site. That seems to be the problem. I tried a lot of different possible solutions. When I go to the web site using the real address, the pop up windows work! They still don't work when I go through URL forwarding.
