"Macromedia Flash MX 2004 not found" when installing AS2 remoting components

Hello All:

When I try to install the AS2 remoting components for Flash MX 2004 Pro (installed and registered on my laptop), I get the following error:

Macromedia Flash MX 2004 not found

The installer was unable to find Macromedia Flash MX 2004 on this machine.

Make sure Macromedia Flash MX 2004 is installed correctly.
===========================================

I've tried to run the installer both when Flash MX 2004 Pro is _NOT_ running and when it is. The same error comes up, regardless. Also, I've tried restarting and installing immediately after the restart. No luck.

I though I was probably not alone in having this problem, but I've been unable to find postings by others who've dealt with this. Any suggestions or references to info on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

   Do you have the latest version of Extension manager installed on your system? I have version 1.6.2 installed on my PC with Flash MX 2004 Pro update 7.2 installed. I installed the trial version of Remoting software & downloaded the components from macromedia site & they are running as they should. No errors found.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have version 1.6.062 of the extension manager installed. This is the latest version, according to the associated Macromedia download page (http://www.macromedia.com/exchange/em_download/). Where did you get version 1.6.2?

sorry! that was 1.6.062 which i read as 1.6.2
