Character " ' " not allow?

for some reason, i unable to use this " ' " single quote on the guestbook. whenever i submit something like:

hello how are you ' nice site  '

something with a single quote ' like this will return a underfined message. if i enable html in the textbox then i can use the single quote ' but if i disable html then i get the message undefined.

can someone help me on this?

Simple quot break the output. There are many questions like this, and basically you need to replace the character with something similar. See how in other answers, search for Special characters in this Board.
