I haven't checked it out yet, but if you are not liking the Flash IDE editor check this out.

Alessandro editor's is great, now around the third version or so. I use since a year, much more comfortable for scripting, specially with large scripts. Search, tips, publish, many features. It lacks of tips for the new classes introduced in Flash 8 (probably there's some update that I missing) Also automatic publish for Flash 8 is not supported (yet)
It allow to manage files, projects, packets in an easy way, and also have a reference to help (it covers until Flash 7) It mess a litle with large script when listing class methods, specially if you use inner callbacks or functions inside methods. I.e I'm currently have a script with around 1000 lines of code (uff), with three or four related classes around, and things mess a little (list get stuck sometimes when looking for a method)
Anyway a great tool, evolving version trough version! Cheers Alessandro!

Yes, really a nice tool, i worked on it for few projects, very easy to use specially when used with MTASC, very robust developement provider.
