    AOL & Ecards
    « on: 09/18/06, 09:48 »
I went through the tutorial and the ecards are working fine except with AOL users it seems?? Is there something with AOL that won't post PHP? After they've filled out the info and hit send, it says sending ecard but it never successfully goes through.

Hi and welcome to the boards!

    The AOL-Browser is krippled.
It is very hard to make things run under AOL.
This is why many sites tell AOL users to conncte to the internet, and then use a real browser (any browser but AOL does it).

My AOL test person wasn't filling out the whole card. Fixed that. I'm still having an issue with them receiving the card. I only know two people that still use AOL, but neither of them receive anything when I fill out the card and send it to them at their @aol.com address. I made these cards for a large sales team so they could send thank you's to their clients, and quite a few of their clients use good ol aol. We can't really say "ooooh I see you have an aol address you should get gmail or yahoo so I can send you a thank you. It's free." Anymore ideas???

AOL was, in my opinion, allways outdated, but never good ;)
