New amfphp version 2.0 (alpha) released
    « on: 04/20/11, 09:22 »
Some time pass until I come back to amfphp for my next project (was working with other technologies) and find that finally version 2.0 (alpha release) was published under the new leadership of six labs. They have re-arquitect the library keeping an eye in backwards compatibility (but please take a look at readme because not all is totally compatible) and add a plugin system. Documentation is coming up, you can see what's available at http://projects.silexlabs.org/?/amfphp#/php.remoting/what.is.amfphp

Ok, I have tested in a couple of normal PHP server environments, still beta prompts errors, I{m talking with dev to see if we can spot some of the problems

I didnt do much development lately.
But did you check the differences between AMFPHP and the intergrated objects of the ZEND library?

I didn't use the Zend module for amfphp because it forces me to use Zend framework ... in a flash project that make no sense. Probably if you are working on a PHP ambient based on Zend is the best choice, if not amfphp still is better and lighter (but probably with less advanced features)
