    strange behaviour with comboboxes
    « on: 11/07/05, 03:22 »
last week i had a problem loading a moviclip that contained some comboboxes into another combobox , becuase the comboboxes didn't work. Someone told me that putting a combobox into the movie clip that calls the movie with the the comboboxes will resolve the problem , but i found that something strange happens . If i have two comoboxes in the movie when i made a click in one of the two , it work prefect and shows it's contents , but then , if a try to make a click in the other combobox flash returns me an error that says something like "An script from this movie is making th flash player to work slowly. if it continues executing the computer could hang, do you want to abort the script?" (translation from the spanish)

i checked this with a movie clip with only two comboboxes and without any code , an d the comboboxes only populated with 3 text elements.

i hope someone could help me.

Ii solved the problem , i was working with Flash MX 2004 7.0.3 (spanish) , i've updated to the latest 7.2 version , and all comboboxes work perfect. it seems Macromedia has some important bugs with their components , i hope they improve them in the next release of flash.
