Sending Email in Flash

Goals

This example shows how you can send an email from a Flash form and revised the Snowmail tutorial updating the PHP script.

For the server part, modern php (4.1 or later) is assumed. The form used is just an example, and can be modified as far as you pass the correct data along. One important thing about the PHP script is the validation of the sender email, so non existing domains will be rejected. I will not explain where to click in the flash program, but just explain the structure of the movie.

A Flash 5 and a Flash MX version that works with Flash MX 2004 are provided.
